LUXURY GARAGE DOORS SHOW OFF THE CAR COLLECTION
SWR Doors & Awnings worked alongside APM and Nailormade Interior Design to create a luxury garage for a stunning property in rural Ashridge. The client, a sports car enthusiast, enlisted APM to repurpose an existing building into a stylish space for their collection, with Colin Naylor of Nailormade overseeing the interior design.
Colin selected Hörmann ALR F42 Garage Doors for their modern design, German engineering, and lightweight construction, saying, “SWR helped refine the final specifications.” These doors, typically used in car showrooms, were perfect for showcasing the collection. Their aluminium panels can be customized with various materials and effects, and glazed sections offer clear views while enhancing insulation with scratch-resistant Duratec finishes.
SWR supplied and installed three ALR F42 Garage Doors (3000mm x 2165mm), meeting the project’s specifications and deadline. Steven Atkins of APM said, “This was an exciting project combining modern construction methods with heritage restoration for a unique result.”
