TERRY’S BLUE HOUSE HAS MADE OUR BALUSTRADE FAMOUS
Did you catch the ‘Blue House’ on Grand Designs? Built by Mr. and Mrs. Brown-Waite, this eco-friendly, modern masterpiece focuses on natural light and sustainability. Its sleek interior features underfloor heating, stylish lighting, and a spacious design.
To complement the home’s aesthetic, Terry chose SWR’s glass balustrade system for its minimalist appeal. He appreciated its frameless look, achieved by embedding the bottom channel into the floor structure, with added lighting for a stunning effect.
Though SWR didn’t handle the installation, Terry found the balustrade kit easy to fit, with all components cut perfectly to size. As a DIY project, he managed most of the work solo, requiring help only for mounting the handrail.
The completed balustrade now enhances both the interior and exterior of the Blue House, seamlessly blending safety, style, and low maintenance.
